Still Inside
Don’t tell her stories about true love
Cause the only love she’s known, is all messed up
Maybe she’ll feel alright one day
But for now she just feels like she felt yesterday
She gets left behind
And it’s in her heart and mind
That all of its unfair
Who, who’s gonna be there
And someone’s got it better and someone’s got it worse
Where are all her children to which she gave birth?
And she knows she shouldn’t smoke
Still she takes another toke
She doesn’t know why
She can’t seem to cry
And it’s all Still Inside
And she’s fallen from her pride
She’s cut off all her hair
In remembrance she said
She gets left behind
And it’s in her heart and mind
That all of its unfair
Who, who’s gonna be there
And someone’s got it better and someone’s got it worse
Where are all her children to which she gave birth?
And it’s all Still Inside
And she’s fallen from her pride
She’s cut off all her hair
In remembrance she says
In remembrance she says
Children
